A. License Required: All persons who desire to engage in the business of installing wiring and equipment for lighting, heating or power, within the corporate limits of the city, must first secure a contractor's license from the city clerk.
B. Application For License; Fee: Such persons shall make application in writing to the city clerk, who will refer the same to the state board of electrical examiners for approval or rejection, and if approved by said board, and upon the payment of a fee as set from time to time by resolution of the board of commissioners, the city clerk shall issue such applicant a contractor's license which shall expire on April 30 following the date of issue.
