There is hereby adopted for the purpose of establishing rules and regulations for the construction, alteration, removal, demolition, use and occupancy, location and maintenance of buildings and structures, including permits and penalties, that BOCA national and international building code, current edition, as the city building code, save and except such portions hereinafter deleted, modified, or amended, a copy of which shall be made available for inspection at the city inspector's office. From the date on which this section shall take effect, the provisions of said code adopted shall be controlling within the corporate limits of the city. (Ord. 216, 11-2-1999)
