7-2-6: CONDEMNATION OF SIDEWALKS:

The board of commissioners may at any time, by resolution, condemn any portion of a sidewalk whenever in their judgment it shall be deemed necessary, and provide for the construction of a new sidewalk in accordance with this and other ordinances of the city. (1980 Code § 19-23)
