7-1-16: USE OF CHAINS ON TRUCKS:
The use of chains on automobile trucks rated at over two (2) ton capacity is prohibited upon any of the paved streets, alleys or other places in the city, and it shall be unlawful for any person to drive or cause to be driven on any of the paved streets, alleys or other public places any automobile truck rated as more than two (2) ton capacity while chains are on the tires of such trucks; provided, that at such times when the paved streets and alleys are covered with ice or snow, the use of chains is permitted.
