7-1-8: DEFACING SIDEWALK AND STREET:

It shall be unlawful for any person, firm or corporation to cut, carve, mark, engrave or inscribe upon any sidewalk, curbing, pavement or other public part of any street, any sign, mark, advertisement or effigy, other than to show contractor's nameplate. (1980 Code § 19-11)
