Every person who shall use or occupy any part of the streets or avenues of the city for building materials shall cause one or more red lights to be kept burning from sunset to sunrise on the front and at each side in such manner as to give notice of danger to all possible means of approach, so long as such material or obstruction remains. Those who fail to comply with any of the provisions of this section shall be guilty of an offense. (1980 Code § 19-4)
