A. Required Obedience: It is an offense against the city for any person to do any act forbidden or fail to perform any act required in this title. (1980 Code § 20-4)
B. Obedience To City Officials: No person shall wilfully fail or refuse to comply with any lawful order or direction of a police officer or fire department official. (1980 Code § 20-5)
C. Obedience By Public Officers And Employees: The provisions of this title shall apply to the driver of any vehicle owned by or used in the service of the United States government, any state, county, city or other governmental unit or agency, as well as to other vehicles; and it is unlawful for any such driver to violate any of the provisions of this title, except as otherwise permitted in this title or by state statutes.
