The provisions of section 5-2-2 of this chapter shall not apply to a minor who is accompanied by his or her parent or parents, a guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor, or where the minor is upon an emergency errand or is pursuing a legitimate business purpose directed or approved by the parent, parents, guardian or other adult person having the care and custody of the minor.
