4-1-1: HEALTH OFFICER:
   A.   Appointment; County Director Serve:
      1.   The city commission may at any time by resolution direct the city manager to appoint a health officer and may direct duties, compensations and term of office by such resolution.
      2.   The director of the Creek County health department may serve in the capacity of health officer. (1980 Code § 11-1)
   B.   Duties: The health officer shall have general supervision of the enforcement of the health ordinances of the city and state within the limits of the city and five (5) miles beyond the boundary of the city. He shall give and perform any and all duties as are now or may hereafter be imposed upon him by ordinance, law or the orders of the board of commissioners or the city manager. (1980 Code § 11-2)
   C.   Directions: The orders of the health officer and all notices promulgated by him shall be on forms provided for that purpose and shall be served by the chief of police or other person deputized by the said health officer. (1980 Code § 11-7)
