Where City inspection reveals that a sidewalk fails to comply with the standards set forth in Section 905.09 or 905.10, so that the duty imposed in Section 905.08 has not been met, the Building and Zoning Commissioner shall serve notice on the person burdened with the duty to maintain such sidewalk, instructing that person to take appropriate corrective action by the date specified. Such notice may, at the option of the City Administrator, be coordinated with the passage of a resolution of necessity. However, the notice shall provide not less than the minimum period of corrective action set forth in Ohio R.C. Chapter 729, and the notice shall be delivered according to that chapter.
