§ 70.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Whoever violates any provision of § 70.01 or Chapter 71, Schedule I, shall be fined not more than $25 nor less than $10 for each offense. (BC Ord. passed 4-20-87)
   (B)   Violation of § 70.02 or Chapter 71, Schedules II or III shall be punishable as follows:
      (1)   For vehicles overweight between zero and 4,000 pounds, a fine of $300;
      (2)   For vehicles 4,000 pounds overweight or greater, a fine of $500 plus an additional $100 fine for each pounds or portion thereof above 4,000 pounds overweight up to a maximum fine of $2,500.

      (3)   Whoever violates Chapter 71, Schedule III(B) shall be guilty of an infraction violation. Violation shall be a Class B infraction and shall be fined not more than $1,000.

   (C)   Violation of § 70.03 shall be punishable as follows:
      (1)   For vehicles overweight between zero and 4,000 pounds, a fine of $300.
      (2)   For vehicles 4,000 pounds overweight or greater, a fine of $500 plus an additional $100 fine for each 1,000 pounds or portion thereof above 4,000 pounds overweight up to a maximum fine of $2,500.

   (D)   Any person violating any portion of § 70.05 shall be guilty of an infraction. Any person violating said section shall be fined nor more than $25 and not less than $10.
   (E)   Any person violating any portion of § 70.04 and/or § 70.07 shall be guilty of a Class D infraction and shall be fined up to $25. Any person found to have violated any portion of § 70.04 and/or § 70.05 more than once in a calendar year shall be guilty of a Class C infraction and shall be fined up to $500; and
   (F)   Any person violating any portion of § 70.08 shall be guilty of a Class D infraction and shall be fined up to $25. Any person found to have violated any portion of § 70.08 a second time in a calendar year shall be guilty of a Class C infraction and shall be fined up to $500. If a person is cited for a violation of § 70.08 for a third time in any calendar year, he or she shall be guilty of a Class C infraction and shall be fined up to $500. Additionally, the registration for the golf cart the person was operating at the time of the citation and the registration for any golf cart registered by that person shall be revoked and the golf cart(s) may not be registered for a period of one year.
   (G)   Any person found to be in violation of § 70.09 shall be guilty of, and fined, as follows:
      (1)   First offense - Class C infraction; a fine of up to $500;
      (2)   Second offense - Class B infraction; a fine of up to $1,000;
      (3)   Third offense and any offense thereafter - Class A infraction; a fine of up to $2,500 for each offense beginning with the third offense.
