§ 70.07 RECREATIONAL OFF-HIGHWAY VEHICLES.
   (A)   Except as provided in division (B) of this section, recreational off-highway vehicles (a/k/a “recreational off-road vehicles”, “UTVs”, and/or “side-by-sides”), as defined by I.C. 14-8-2-233.5, are prohibited from operating on the following county maintained roads:
      (1)   Stateline Road;
      (2)   Jamison Road;
      (3)   North Dearborn Road east of State Road 1;
      (4)   Georgetown Road;
      (5)   Bond Road;
      (6)   Sand Run Road;
      (7)   Cole Lane;
      (8)   Whites Hill Road;
      (9)    Harrison-Brookville Road;
      (10)   Salt Fork Road;
      (11)   Jackson Ridge;
      (12)   Pribble Road; and
      (13)   Wilson Creek Road;
   (B)   Recreational off-highway vehicles may use all county roads, including those listed in division (A) of this section, outside of the corporate limits of any city or town, in accordance with the laws of the State of Indiana as prescribed in I.C. 14-16-1 under the following conditions:
      (1)   The recreational off-highway vehicle must be properly equipped with head lights, tail lights, brake lights, and turn signals; and
      (2)   The recreational off-highway vehicles must be capable of operating at the posted speed limit of the road upon which it is operating;
   (C)   If the recreational off-highway vehicle does not meet the requirements of division (B) of this section, the prohibited roads listed in division (A) of this section, may be crossed at a 90° angle by a recreational off-highway vehicle for agricultural and/or recreational purposes;
   (D)   No person shall operate a recreational off-highway vehicle on a county maintained public highway without a valid motor vehicle driver’s license pursuant to I.C. 14-16-1-20(c);
   (E)   No other use prohibited by Indiana law shall be permitting on county roads, including, but not limited to. the prohibitions found under I.C. 14-16-1-23; and
   (F)   A person who operates a recreational off-highway vehicle on county roads shall comply with all the conditions of I.C. 14-16-1 et seq., and, specifically, with the requirements of I.C. 14-16-1-20.
