Every owner or user of portable or semiportable boilers in the city, on or before March 1 of each year, shall furnish to the department a written list setting forth the number of such boilers used, the description of each boiler and the location thereof in order that an inspection thereof may be made. It shall be unlawful for any person to use in the city any such boiler until it has been inspected and an inspection certificate has been given in accordance with this article.

Each and every boiler governed by this article shall have two low water safety alarms and cut-off controls of a type easily tested by the compliance officer without interfering with the operation of the boiler. The alarms shall be connected with the boiler so that the low water alarm will be sounded when there is less than two inches of water over the highest point of tubes or crown sheets and with manual reset controls.

ARTICLE VII.5. - REFRIGERATION CODE
The provisions of this article shall apply to all new and used refrigerating systems hereafter installed, to all existing refrigerating systems and to all repairing, servicing, alterations or additions to new and existing refrigeration systems; provided, that this article shall not apply to refrigerating systems in private passenger motor vehicles using refrigerants designated as Group 1 Refrigerants in the American Standards Association Safety Code for Mechanical Refrigeration, A.S.A. B9.1-1958, or the latest revision thereof.

All refrigerating systems shall be constructed, installed and maintained in accordance with the provisions of the American Standards Association Safety Code for Mechanical Refrigeration, A.S.A. B9.1-1958, or the latest revision thereof, together with the rules adopted thereunder.
