(a) Full current immunizations (rabies, DHLLP or DAPPL, and bordatella) of all dogs are required.
(b) It shall be unlawful for any owner/handler to bring a dog that has a contagious condition, disease, parasites, or fresh wound into the dog park.

(a) All bites and scratches by a dog in the dog park must be reported to the Dearborn Police Department. It shall be unlawful for any owner/handler to fail to report a bite or scratch by an accompanied dog of another person or another dog within 24-hours of the incident.
(1) All dog bites shall be reported in accordance with section 4-31 of the Dearborn Code of Ordinances, entitled "Dog Bite Reporting Requirements."
(b) Dogs showing aggression towards people or other dogs must be removed from the dog park immediately. It shall be unlawful for any owner/handler to fail to immediately leash and remove any dog showing aggression from the dog park. Dogs that exhibit aggressive behavior are not allowed in the dog park at any time.
(c) It shall be unlawful for any person to bring any dog deemed to be a vicious dog or a dangerous dog by any state or local government or agency into the dog park.

(a) While in the dog park, it shall be unlawful:
(1) For any person to possess food for humans or dogs, including dog treats.
(2) For any person to possess/use tobacco products, herbal products, alcoholic beverages, or glass containers.
(3) For any person to possess dog toys.
(4) For any person to possess or unleash an animal other than a dog.
(5) For any person to possess/use a skateboard, skates, a bicycle, a scooter or any other wheeled apparatus. The operation of a non-motorized wheelchair or motorized mobility device by a person with physical disabilities is exempt from this sub-section.

(a) Any person who violates this section shall be subject to the following:
(1) First offense: The person is responsible for a civil infraction and shall be fined $100.00;
(2) Second offense: The person is responsible for a civil infraction and shall be fined $250.00; and
(3) Third and subsequent offenses: The person is guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be expelled from the dog park.
(b) In addition, any person who fails to comply with dog park rules and regulations may be subject to expulsion from the dog park, revocation of their dog park permit, and/or dog impound.
(1) Any person who is expelled from the dog park, whose dog park permit is revoked, or whose dog is impounded under this subsection may appeal the action to the recreation and parks commission, whose decision shall be final.
