242.28 CONTINUING PROFESSIONAL TRAINING (CPT) FUND.
   (a)   There is hereby created a fund to be know as the Continuing Professional Training (CPT) Fund, a special revenue fund, for the use of the Chief of Police and any person authorized by him or her, to comply with Senate Bill 281 by providing continuing professional training for the officers in the Police Department, to be appropriated in and included as part of the annual appropriations for Special Revenue Funds.
   (b)   The Chief of Police and any person authorized by him or her, in writing, shall have sole custody of and jurisdiction over the Continuing Professional Training (CPT) Fund, including but not limited to training qualifications, record keeping, reporting, and enforcement, etc.
   (c)   The Chief of Police and any person authorized by him or her shall account for expenditures from the Fund by delivery to the Chief Fiscal Officer a complete and adequate written report of the grants requests, receipts and expenditures of the Fund, together with a description of the purpose of the expenditure.
