242.14 TRAINING.

All members of the Police Department shall be trained adequately and appropriately. The Police Chief, in cooperation with all other members of the Police Department, is hereby directed to draft and submit to Council a defined, nondiscriminatory schooling and training policy to be approved by Council. This policy shall be made part of the Rules and Regulations of the Police Department and shall be reviewed at least every two years.
