There is hereby established a fund to be designated as the Police Department Petty Cash Fund. Such Fund shall be in the amount of three hundred fifty dollars ($350.00) and shall be for the use of the Police Department. Such Fund shall be appropriated in and included as part of the General Fund to the Department. The Chief of Police shall have custody of and jurisdiction over the Fund and shall use the same for the purpose of making incidental purchases of less than fifty dollars ($50.00).
