242.06 ESTABLISHMENT AND PURPOSE OF POLICE CONFIDENTIAL INVESTIGATION FUND.
   There is hereby established a fund, to be designated as the Police Confidential Investigation Fund, in the amount of three thousand dollars ($3,000), for the use of the Police Department, to be appropriated in and included as part of the annual appropriation for the General Fund to the Police Department. The Police Chief, with the approval of the Mayor, may pay rewards up to five hundred dollars ($500.00) each from the Fund to persons furnishing information which leads to the arrest and conviction of persons committing any misdemeanor set forth in Chapter 624 of the General Offenses Code or violating any provision of Ohio R.C. Chapter 3719 or committing any felony.
