The Chief of Police shall have custody of all books containing traffic tickets and arrest notifications, and shall issue such books to the police officers when needed. When all the tickets in each book have been issued, the Chief shall file all used books. The third, yellow copy of all arrest notifications shall be forwarded to the Clerk of Court who will send the yellow copies to the Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles. The Chief shall keep a record of all books issued and shall maintain custody of all books returned.
