305.01 TRAFFIC CONTROL FILE.

   (a)   There is hereby established a Traffic Control File which shall be prepared and kept to date by the Chief of Police and maintained in such office. The File shall constitute the permanent and official record of through streets, stop intersections, yield right of way intersections, school zones, one-way streets, prohibited and limited parking areas, taxicab zones, parking meter zones, traffic control devices and miscellaneous traffic regulations.

   (b)   The Traffic Control File existing as of the date of passage of this section is incorporated as part of this Traffic Code. The Traffic Control File shall include the following information:

      (1)   Type of traffic control device designation.

      (2)   Complete description of street or area affected.

      (3)   Number of the ordinance authorizing designation.

      (4)   Effective date of the ordinance.

      (5)   Date lawful traffic control devices were erected.
