1303.07 LETTER "G".
(a) "Garage" means a building or part thereof accessory to a main building and providing for storage, housing, maintenance or repair of one or more motor vehicles containing flammable liquid or gas in its fuel storage tank.
(b) "Grade", as a noun:
(1) As a datum from which to measure the height of a floor for the purpose of applying exitway regulations means:
A. Relative to floors above the basement, the finished grade at the lowest required grade exit serving the floor under consideration.
B. Relative to a basement floor level, the finished grade at the highest required grade exit serving the basement under consideration.
(2) As a datum from which to measure the height of a building for the purpose of determining the type of construction required: the average finished grade adjoining the exterior perimeter of the building.
(c) "Grade, established" means the elevation of the street as established by the principal authority.
(d) "Grade, incline" means the degree of inclination with respect to the horizontal.
(e) "Grade, material" means an established size, quality, composition or strength, or with respect to an established size, quality, composition or strength.
