§ 90.18 IMPOUNDMENT OF DOGS AND CATS.
   It shall be the duty of the Chief of Police or designated agents, or the Animal Control Officer to seize and impound all animals found in violation of the provisions of this chapter whether or not the animal be in the possession of the owner and whether or not the animal be licensed. The Animal Control Officer shall transport the animal to the Campbell County Animal Shelter and the animal shall be subject to the regulations of said shelter.

§ 90.19 REDEMPTION OF ANIMAL AFTER IMPOUNDMENT.
   The owner of any animal which has been impounded under the provisions of this chapter may redeem the animal upon the procurement of all vaccinations, compliance with all laws and regulations and payment of all fines, licenses, and fees due under the terms of this chapter, the regulations of the Campbell County Animal Shelter, or state and county law.

§ 90.20 ANIMAL CONTROL OFFICER.
   There is hereby created the position of Animal Control Officer whose duties it shall be to enforce the provisions of this chapter. The Animal Control Officer shall be paid according to the terms of a contract agreed upon by all parties.

§ 90.99 PENALTY.
   (A)   Any person who violates any provision of this chapter for which another penalty is not already otherwise provided shall be guilty of a violation and shall be fined not less than $10 nor more than $250 for each offense. Each day the violation exists shall constitute a separate offense.
   (B)   Any person who violates § 90.03 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than $500, imprisoned for not more than 12 months, or both for each offense.

   (C)   Any person who violates § 90.04 shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be fined not less than $100 nor more than $500. (KRS 436.600)
   (D)   Anyone violating any provision of § 90.08 shall be subject to fines in the Campbell District Court of not less than $50 and no more than $100.
   (E)   Any person found in violation of §§ 90.16 and 90.17 of this chapter shall be fined $25 for the first violation within a year; $50 for the second violation within a year; and $75 for each violation thereafter within a year. (Ord. 1995-2, passed 8-1-95)
