8-1-9: DISK TYPE HOME SATELLITE TELEVISION ANTENNAS:
   A.   Limitations On Construction: Disk type (also known as dish type) home satellite television and/or radio antennas, located in any zoning district shall be constructed in accordance with the following: Any such antennas shall not exceed a height of thirteen feet (13'), as measured from the average surrounding grade to the highest point of the antenna or its supporting structure, and shall not exceed ten feet (10') in diameter. The assembly shall be securely anchored to a concrete base which shall enable the assembly to withstand any imposed wind load.
   B.   Electrical Code 1 : Any such antennas shall be installed in strict compliance with the electrical code, as adopted by reference by the city.
   C.   Setback And Location Requirements: Any such antennas shall conform to all zoning ordinance setback and zoning requirements for accessory structures applicable in the zoning district in which any such antenna is to be placed 2 .
   D.   Permit Fee: No such antennas shall be installed prior to the issuance of a permit from the building department. The fee for such permit is hereby established at the minimum fee applicable to remodeling as set forth in section 8-1-2 of this chapter. (Ord. 06-31-0, 9-13-2006)
