It is hereby declared to be the intent of the governing body of the city to aid and assist in establishing consistency in application and enforcement of building regulations among and between agencies of Idaho sharing such jurisdiction that toward that end, adoption of the codes set out in section 9-4-2 of this chapter by the cities of Idaho is deemed a beneficial and necessary means of assuring such uniformity within the state.
