(a) Bowling Alleys. No owner, operator, manager or person in charge of any bowling alley licensed under this chapter shall permit any person under the age of sixteen (16) years to bowl in or remain or be present in any such bowling alley or any room adjoining or adjacent thereto and connected therewith after the hour of 10:00 p.m., unless such person is accompanied by the parent or natural guardian of such person.
No person under the age of sixteen (16) years shall so bowl or be present after such hour.
(b) Billiard Rooms.
(1) No owner, operator, manager or person in charge of any billiard room licensed under this chapter shall permit any person under the age of eighteen (18) years to play billiards or pool in such billiard room or be present therein for any purpose. However, a person under eighteen (18) years of age, when accompanied by either parent or his legal guardian, may be permitted to play billiards and pool, or be and remain in such billiard room, and an adult person, who is in charge of a group of minor children under the age of eighteen (18) years, may bring such group into a billiard room for the purpose of permitting them to play billiards or pool. Such group may be permitted to play billiards and pool or be in and remain in the billiard room so long as they remain under the supervision and control of such adult person.
No person under the age of eighteen (18) years shall play pool or billiards in any billiard room or be present therein for any purpose except under the conditions specified in this subsection (b)(1).
(2) No owner, operator, manager or person in charge of any premises of which all or a part thereof is licensed as a billiard room under this chapter shall permit any person under the age of eighteen (18) years to be present in any room or portion of such premises which is adjoining or adjacent to such billiard room.
No person under the age of eighteen (18) years shall be present in such room or portion of premises which is adjoining or adjacent to such billiard room.
However, this subsection (b)(2) shall not apply to any adjoining or adjacent room or portion of premises which at the time is duly licensed as a bowling alley under the provisions of this chapter and when such person under the age of eighteen (18) years is otherwise lawfully present in such adjoining or adjacent room or portion of premises. This subsection (b)(2) also does not apply when a person under the age of eighteen (18) years is accompanied by either parent or his legal guardian, or is a member of a group of minor children under the age of eighteen (18) years, which is in charge of an adult person, so long as such group remains under the supervision and control of the adult person.
