The Retired Senior Volunteer Program Advisory Commission created herein shall have as its purpose to serve in an advisory capacity to Council on concerns relative to older adult volunteerism. The Advisory Commission shall work with project staff to monitor community interest and needs, and shall assist in all possible and appropriate ways in the establishment, expansion and promotion of the retired senior volunteer program. Further, the Advisory Commission shall work to encourage community residents to make maximum use of this project for the enhancement of the welfare and life style of older persons.
