SCHEDULE IV - ELECTRICAL FACILITIES
   Pursuant to Section 1351.20(b), the following items, among others not specifically enumerated, shall be inspected in an inspection to determine that the electrical service of an individual dwelling is in an approved state:
   (a)   The wiring.
   (b)   The main panel.
   (c)   Wire taps, including taps to romex cables.
   (d)   Closet lights.
   (e)   Properly grounded outlets in laundry areas.
   (f)   The proper installation of ground fault interrupter receptacles in bathrooms are required for new installation.
   (g)   Proper outlets for refrigerators, freezers and stoves.
   (h)   The condition of all outlets.
   (i)   The condition of all switches.
   (j)   Three-pronged receptacles shall be grounded.
   (k)   The proper use of extension cords.
   (l)   The proper installation of garbage disposals.
   (m)   The absence of unused or unconnected wiring.
   (n)   Proper fuses.
   (o)   The enclosing off of unused work box openings.
   (p)   The condition of all fixtures.
   Among others, the source for the items contained in this Schedule was the National Fire Code Standard 70, also known as the National Electric Code. All subsequent amendments, alterations, deletions or other changes to the standards, rules or regulations contained therein shall be adopted without ordinance by the City unless expressly stated otherwise.
