Pursuant to Section 1351.18(c), the following, among others, are items which are to be inspected in determining whether flue connections are to be approved:
(a) The slope of the vent.
(b) The length of the vent.
(c) The connection and the seal of the vent to the chimney.
(d) The material of the vents and the flue.
(e) The manner of connecting portions of the vents and the flue together.
(f) The draft hoods on water heaters and furnaces.
Among others, the source for the items contained in this Schedule was the National Fire Code Standard 54, also known as the National Fuel Gas Code. All subsequent amendments, alterations, deletions or other changes to the standards, rules or regulations contained therein shall be adopted without ordinance by the City unless expressly stated otherwise.
