"Hotel" means a building in which lodging is provided and offered to the public for compensation, and which is open to occupancy for periods of less than one (1) week, in contradistinction to a boarding house or lodging house as defined in Section 1103.03(b)(57) of the Zoning Code. All accommodations in a hotel must be reached by passage through a central lobby.
