"Building Commissioner" (or "Commissioner of Buildings") means the individual, designated by the Mayor as being in charge of the Division of Building in the Department of Public Safety, including the authorized agent of such Building Commissioner, the Commissioner of Inspectional Services and any other person or board authorized to give approval under this Housing Code.
