1317.06 INSURANCE REQUIRED.
   (a)   Each contractor applying for a registration certificate under this chapter shall furnish a certificate of insurance evidencing that the contractor is carrying public liability insurance and naming the City of Cleveland Heights as an additionally named insured and evidencing insurance for bodily injury in the amount of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000) per person and three hundred thousand dollars ($300,000) per occurrence for bodily injury, and fifty thousand dollars ($50,000) per occurrence for property damage, together with a valid commitment from the applicant’s insurance carrier, which must be authorized to do business in the State, that the Municipality shall be given ten days’ written notice before cancellation, lapsing or voiding of any such policy.
   (b)   The cancellation, lapsing or voiding of any such insurance policy required by this section shall be cause for immediate revocation of the registration certificate of such contractor to do business within the City.
