Any owner that is subject to the requirements of this chapter shall be allowed 90 days to correct any cross-connections, auxiliary intakes, interconnections or other hazard as defined by § 53.08 or other connection as defined in § 53.09 of this code in violation of the provisions of this chapter. The 90 days will be from the date of receipt of the notification in accordance with § 53.12. Notwithstanding the requirements of this section, if the Town of Clayton Public Works and Utilities Director or his or her designee determines that there is an imminent threat to the public water supply; water service may be discontinued until such violations are corrected.
