(a) The Director of Public Safety and the Chillicothe Police Department is hereby granted jurisdiction over and is authorized to provide any necessary police protection to all real estate owned or used by the City for municipal purposes which lies outside of the Municipal corporation limits pursuant to Ohio R.C. 715.50
(b) The Chief of Police or any of his police officers are hereby authorized and directed to prosecute any violations of City ordinances or of the statutes of the State of Ohio in the Chillicothe Municipal Court which occur on the real estate owned or used by the City located outside the municipal limits.
