13-196-010 Application.

Every existing building shall comply with the code requirements in force and applicable to such building, at the time of its construction or alteration, and shall also comply with such provisions of this chapter which are specifically made applicable to all existing buildings. However, nothing in this chapter shall be interpreted to prevent the application of the Chicago Zoning Ordinance, of this Code.
