Roll-in showers provided in accessible units shall include a permanently mounted folding shower seat.

Note 1. Overlap of the required number of accessible guestrooms with the required number of rooms with communication features shall be in accordance with Section 18-11-1107.5.1.1.2.
Note 2. Visual notification devices shall be provided to alert room occupants of incoming telephone calls and a door knock or bell. Notification devices shall not be connected to visual alarm signal appliances. Permanently installed telephones shall have volume controls and an electrical outlet complying with ICC/ANSI A 117.1 located within 48 inches (1219 mm) of the telephone to facilitate the use of a TTY.
Note 3. Visible alarm notification appliances shall be provided in these rooms and shall be activated by both the in- room smoke alarm and the building fire alarm system.
