An applicant who satisfies all of the requirements imposed under this chapter shall be issued a license by the building commissioner upon payment of the required fees. The licensee’s name shall be placed both on the license certificate and on the identification card issued to the registered elevator mechanic contractor. No supervising elevator mechanic shall be certified with more than one registered elevator mechanic contractor or listed on more than one registration certificate.
