921.162 TAP-IN FEES.
   A fee shall be levied for each user connection (whether direct or indirect) and any direct tap for the extension of existing water mains based on the size of the service lateral or water main connected to the water system in accordance with the following schedule and requirements.

   (b)   The tap-in fee for a single tenant building shall be the sum of charges for each service lateral installed to said building.
   (c)   The tap-in fee for a multi-tenant buildings shall be-the sum of charges for the size of service provided to each tenant area plus the size of service provided for general building use.
   (d)   Construction projects which include the installation of new water mains shall be charged for each direct tap (except as otherwise provided for herein). In projects with multiple construction phases, a tap-in fee shall be charged for the extension of each water main to serve a new construction phase.
      (1)   The Authority having jurisdiction shall waive the charge for a direct tap for a new water main within a specific construction project phase, when said tap and new mains will actually grid the municipal water system (see Section 927.55(b); Water Regulations).
      (2)   No tap fee shall be charged for improvements required to be installed under Section 927.56 (Provide for Future Connections). However, when application is made for the continuation of service from such connections the applicant there for shall pay the required tap-in fee in effect at the time of said application.
