(A) It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, copartnership, association or corporation to do, or cause or permit to be done, after the adoption of this section, whether acting as principal, agent or employee, any construction, improvement, extension, alteration or demolition of the building, residence or structure, coming under the purview of this act, in the city, without first procuring a permit authorizing such work to be done.
(B) No building permit shall be issued within seventy two (72) hours of the time of filing the application. The building inspector has a maximum of fifteen (15) days for processing and issuance of permits. (Ord. 429, 6-9-1986)
(C) Notwithstanding the definition of "temporary facility" provided in section 2-1-4 of this chapter, after issuance of a building permit, a permit may be issued without a fee therefor, to park one motor home or travel trailer on a building site during construction, for the duration of the building permit, for the purpose of occupancy to guard the premises and prevent theft of building materials.
