The franchise fees paid by the Grantee hereunder will be in lieu of and as payment for any tax or fee imposed by the City on the Grantee by virtue of its status as a public utility including, but not limited to taxes, fees or charges related to easements, franchises, rights of way, utility lines and equipment installation, maintenance and removal during the term of this Franchise Ordinance codified herein.
