8-2-7: LANDING AND TAKE-OFF RULES:
   (A)   Landings and take-offs shall be made directly into the wind or the runway most nearly aligned with the wind.
   (B)   No landings shall be made except at a safe distance from buildings or other aircraft.
   (C)   Traffic shall be to the left, on landing to the south, and take off from the north. Traffic shall be to the right when landing to the north and take off from the south. The first turn after take off shall be made at four hundred feet (400') above the terrain but never within one thousand feet (1,000') of the end of the runway after the pilot has ascertained that there will be no danger of turning in front of a following aircraft. The down wind leg shall be approximately one-fourth (1/4) mile from and parallel to the runway in use at eight hundred thirty feet (830') above terrain. Large aircraft may fly at greater elevations and distances. Planes leaving traffic shall breakout on first and/or base legs by making a forty five degree (45°) turn to the right.
   (D)   No aircraft shall make a straight-in approach unless the approach can be made without interference to other aircraft in the established traffic pattern. Neither shall aircraft make an approach to traffic while over the City at less than one thousand feet (1,000') above the terrain nor on take off fly directly above the City with less than one thousand feet (1,000') elevation above the terrain.
   (E)   The aircraft in the established traffic pattern shall have the right of way over aircraft approaching the pattern, faster aircraft shall take the responsibility of avoiding and not interfering with slower aircraft.
