5-5-2: BOND; LICENSE FEE:
It shall be unlawful for any person to engage in the business set forth in section 5-5-1 of this chapter without first procuring a license from the city clerk, and prior to the issuance of the same, filing with the city clerk a bond, with two (2) or more sureties, in the sum of two hundred dollars ($200.00), which bond shall be approved by the board of councilmen, and conditioned that the licensee shall conduct his business according to the ordinances, rules and regulations of the city pertaining to the business of plumbing and drain laying, and that he and his sureties will be responsible for any and all fines for violation of any provisions of this code pertaining to the said business, and that they will indemnify and save harmless the city from all accidents or damages caused by reason of any work which they may do, or cause to be done, in a defective manner.
The sum of seven dollars fifty cents ($7.50) is hereby fixed as a quarterly charge for a license under the provisions of this chapter. (Ord. 19, 9-14-1934; amd. NRS 444.350)
