Every applicant, before being granted a license, shall pay the following license fee for the privilege of maintaining or operating each such amusement device; one hundred dollars ($100.00) for the first such device; two hundred dollars ($200.00) for the second and third such device; and five hundred dollars ($500.00) for each amusement device thereafter to be placed at such address.
