A. Required: No public sidewalk, curb, or gutter, hereafter referred to as "sidewalks", shall hereafter be constructed or repaired by any person or persons within the city without first having obtained a construction permit from the city building inspector.
B. Application; Form: Such permit shall be obtained upon application therefor made upon forms to be provided by the city with the construction permit fee to be any actual out of pocket expenses incurred by the city under section 6-2-2 of this chapter for engineering or surveying necessary to approve the construction permit. C. Cost Estimate; Payment Of Fee: The building inspector shall issue a statement of the estimated cost which must be paid before the construction permit is issued. The balance of the fee will be due ten (10) days after final billing by the city building inspector.
D. Issuance: Any construction permit for the construction or repair of sidewalks shall be issued by the city building inspector. (1974 Code § 6-101; amd. 2010 Code)
