140.06 BUILDING AND PROPERTY MAINTENANCE INSPECTORS.
   (a)   Appointment and Term. There is hereby created two Building and Property Maintenance Inspector positions, both of whom shall be appointed by the Mayor, and serve under the supervision of the Building Commissioner.
   (b)   Duties. It shall be the duty of the Building and Property Maintenance Inspector, subject to the regulations of the Building Commissioner, to administer and enforce all the State laws and City ordinances relating to the construction, alteration, maintenance, repair, removing or razing of all buildings, to examine all buildings in the course of erection, alteration, repair or removal, to examine all exterior premises exposed to the public view, as often as necessary to insure efficient supervision and construction in conformity with the plans and specifications to administer and enforce the City Housinz Code; to keep complete records of all inspections made and other official work performed and to submit to Council a report of such activities once each year.
   (c)   Compensation. Compensation of the Building and Property Maintenance Inspectors shall be fixed by Council.
