The subdivider shall have not more than 6 months after receiving official notification concerning the preliminary plat to file with the agent a final subdivision plat in accordance with this chapter. Failure to do so shall make preliminary approval null and void. The agent may, on written request by the subdivider, grant an extension of this time limit.
