Each lot shall abut on a street dedicated by the subdivision plat, on an existing publicly dedicated street, or on a street which has become public by right of use. If the existing streets are not 50 feet in width, the subdivider shall make provisions in the deeds to the lots for all buildings to be so constructed as to permit the widening by dedication of the roads or streets to a width of 50 feet.
