9-2-9: LOCATION OF UTILITIES AND OTHER SERVICES; FEES:
   A.   Calls Not Involving JULIE: For calls made directly to the village and not involving JULIE as governed by section 8-9-16 of this code, the village shall charge a fee of one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) per hour for a village employee to designate the location of utilities with a flag, stake or other marking. There shall be a minimum charge of two (2) hours of service.
   B.   Pitot Testing: The village shall charge a flat rate of one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) per address to facilitate Pitot testing, the measurement and/or calibration of the water flow through a water hydrant. This fee is in addition to any fee charged by an individual or business which is hired by the property owner or renter to actually conduct the testing.
   C.   Hydrant Meter Use: There will be a charge of one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) per fifteen thousand (15,000) gallons or two hundred (200) cubic feet of water consumed. The village shall designate which hydrant shall be utilized. Those utilizing the hydrant shall be responsible for any water meter damage or any hydrant damage resulting from such use.
The director of public works, or other village employee designated by the village president, must approve the use or service prior to its commencement. All required fees shall be paid in advance of any use permitted or service provided. (Ord. 2004-25, 11-15-2004)
