Upon registration of an alarm system the Village shall issue to the alarm user a permit sticker that shall be displayed in a conspicuous location upon the premises. It shall be unlawful for the owner or lessee of an alarm system not to display the issued permit.
A life safety registration permit is required for each business address regardless of whether that address has its own alarm to register.
A. Life Safety Registration Permit:
1. This section requires businesses to register their occupancy classification with the Fire Department and is applicable to all businesses.
2. Only one life safety registration permit is required per business and/or occupant space. However, life safety registration is required for each tenant space in multi-tenant buildings. (Ord. 2014-01, 1-8-2014; amd. Ord. 2020-7, 2-18-2020)
