The Economic Development Director shall meet with any developer or business owner who is seeking to establish any new or revised construction or business establishment in the Village.
Any inquiries made to the Village by any potential developer or business owner shall be referred to the Economic Development Director for processing. As soon as practicable after receiving the inquiry, the Director shall set a meeting to review, with the potential developer or business owner, the applicable ordinances of the Village, and the goals and objectives of the Village for future economic growth and development.
The Director shall then refer the potential developer or owner to the appropriate Village departments for any necessary applications and inform the President and Board of Trustees of such contact.
At least once per month, or more often as directed, the Director shall submit a written report to the President and Board of Trustees regarding all such inquiries. The Director shall give an oral report to the President and Board of Trustees each month at the department head meeting. If requested by the President and Board of Trustees, the Director shall advise the potential developer or business owner to be present at a special committee meeting to make a presentation to the President and Board of Trustees regarding the proposal.
