A. Permit Required: It shall be unlawful to construct or lay a pavement on any public way without first having secured a permit therefor. Applications for such permits shall be made to the Village Building Department and shall conform to the provisions of title 3, chapter 1 of this code relating to applications for licenses and permits. Each application shall state the location of the intended pavement, the extent thereof, and the person who is to do the actual construction work.
B. Approval Of Pavement Specifications Required: It shall be unlawful to construct or lay any street or sidewalk pavement in the village unless the specifications for such pavement have been first specifically approved by the Public Works Director or his assignee.
C. Village Exempt From Provisions: The provisions of this chapter pertaining to the construction of pavements or sidewalks shall not apply to work done by the municipality or any agency thereof. (1987 Code; amd. Ord. CO-2023-15, 5-15-2023)
